Bonus & Bonus Code
Bonus Amount: 100% up to $600
Bonus Code (Referral Code): IPOKERORG
Full Tilt Poker offers new players an initial deposit bonus of 100% up to $600. Being a 100% match, you will be eligible for a bonus equal to the amount of your initial deposit. So, if you deposit $100, you’ll be eligible for a $100 bonus. If you deposit $600 or more, you can get up to $600. Players have 120 days to clear as much bonus as they can.
The Full Tilt bonus is paid in increments of either $20 or 10% of the total bonus amount – whichever comes first. This is much better than rooms that pay in one lump sum where it’s possible to go broke or not complete all of the clearing requirements – which leaves the player with no bonus at all. At Full Tilt, if you’re eligible for a $600 bonus but only clear $400 of it before the 120 days expires, you still get your $400. This also gives players extra money to play with as they go, which is especially good for newer players who are more susceptible to losing.
Each point is worth $.06. 100 points = $6 in bonus. 1000 points = $60 in bonus.
In cash games, players earn 1 point per dollar in pot rake, up to 3 points per hand. Partial points are awarded as well. So, if a pot collects a total rake of $2.60, each player dealt a hand will earn 2.6 Full Tilt points. Players can earn up to $18 in bonus per 100 hands (100 hands x 3 points per hand = 300 points x $.06 = $18)
In tournaments, players earn 7 points per dollar in fees. In a $20+3 tournament, players will earn 14 Full Tilt points. At 6 cents per dollar in fees, players get and excellent return of $.42 per dollar in fees.
Traffic
15,000+ cash game players and 70,000+ tournament players during peak hours. All of the most popular poker rooms have good traffic in Texas Hold’em cash games, but Full Tilt has a lot of traffic in Omaha and Stud games as well. Players can even find competition in lower stakes Razz games during most times of the day. All tournament types stay busy, pretty much 24 hours a day. Full Tilt players rarely have a hard time finding their game of choice.
Tournaments
Full Tilt Poker has tournaments of every kind. Whether you like sit-n-go tournaments, large-field tournaments, big guaranteed tournaments, or anything else – Full Tilt has it.
If you love tournaments, try the Full Tilt FTOPS series. FTOPS has become the most popular online poker tournament series in the world. Play in as many as 25 different types of poker tournaments, all hosted by top name pros. Full Tilt Poker’s FTOPS XII satellite tournaments are running NOW, and the tournaments themselves start on May 6th, 2009. Every tournament in FTOPS XII has a guaranteed prize pool in the $150,000 – $2,000,000 range, culminating to the $2.5 million dollar Main Event which will be held on Sunday, May 17th.
Every Sunday at 6:00 ET, Full Tilt Poker runs their $750K guaranteed tournament. This tournament has a direct buy-in of $216, or players can play in satellite tournaments for as little as $2.25 or 300 Full Tilt Points.
For players who like sit-n-go tournaments, Full Tilt Poker offers what they call Matrix Tournaments. In Matrix tournaments, players sit at four tables at a time, playing against the same nine players at each table. Each table has its own prizes, and there are prizes for the top overall players in each Matrix Tournament as well.
Full Tilt Poker also offers a large number of freeroll tournaments for various prizes including seats into the World Series of Poker and the World Poker Tour. Read the following page for more information on the Full Tilt tournaments.

There is a good player base for low limit games, and the big-name pros play in the highest stakes games you’ll find anywhere in the world. On most nights, players such as Tom ‘durrr’ Dwan, Patrick Antonius, Phil Ivey, Mike Matusow and others can be found playing these ultra-hi stakes non-holdem games. It’s not uncommon to see pots around the half-million dollar mark. Anyone who downloads and registers at Full Tilt Poker can watch these games live.
Graphics
The table graphics at Full Tilt are a little cartoony, but player avatars can be turned off if you prefer a more serious look. Sound effects are good and aren’t annoying like a lot of other rooms.
The lobby is layed out well and offers players a large number of filters to help them find their game of choice. There is a legend with a variety of symbols located on the bottom, right side of the lobby. Use this legend to help find certain types of tournaments such as Turbo, Knockout, Super Stack and others.
Software
The Full Tilt software is Mac compatible! Click here to download the Mac version of the software.
The Full Tilt software comes from Chris Fergusons company named TiltWare. The software handles huge numbers of simultaneous players, typically quite well. While there are occasional time-outs for players with slower internet connections, most players reconnect within seconds rather than minutes like some other rooms.
Players can play up to 18 tables at a time, and offers players plenty of custom options. They offer nice hand history reports, note taking abilities, and the software is compatible with almost all poker tracking software.
